Gift vouchers and passes: revenue up front, without the paperwork

A gift voucher and a ten-class pass are money you receive before the client walks in. Eazo now keeps track of both for you – including the voucher code and the remaining entries.

A gift voucher under the tree and a ten-class pass have one thing in common: the client pays up front and you have to keep track of what they have used. On paper or in a spreadsheet this easily goes wrong – a voucher gets lost, a stamp is missing on the card and nobody knows whether it was the sixth or the seventh class.

Eazo now keeps track of both for you. You keep selling in person, in cash or by card, as you are used to. In Eazo you simply record what you sold, and the rest takes care of itself.

Gift vouchers

Issue a voucher either for an amount, say €40, or for a specific service. Eazo creates a code and a PDF you can print or send straight to the recipient by e-mail – including your dedication.

The recipient enters the code when booking online and Eazo checks right away that it is valid. You confirm the redemption yourself at the visit, because only then do you know what was actually paid. A voucher for an amount can be used in parts and the rest stays on it.

The code field only appears in the widget when you have at least one valid voucher. If you don't sell vouchers, your booking form stays exactly as it is.

Where to find it: Gift vouchers → Issue a voucher.

Passes

First, create a pass type: how many entries it gives, how long it is valid and for which services. For example "10 yoga classes, valid for 3 months". You can also set a fixed end date if you sell a seasonal pass.

Then assign it to a client on their card. When the client books a covered service with the same e-mail, one entry is used – at the moment you confirm the booking. A widget booking knows the client only by an e-mail anyone could type, and confirming it is how you vouch that it's really them. A booking you create yourself in the dashboard deducts the entry right away. If you accept widget bookings automatically, charge them to the pass with one click in the booking detail.

A cancelled booking returns the entry. If the client doesn't show up, the entry is forfeited – just like a stamp on a paper card.

In the booking confirmation the client sees how many entries are left and until when the pass is valid. When only one entry is left or the pass is about to expire, Eazo sends them one short notice. That makes it easy to offer the next pass.

You see which pass an entry came from on every booking and on the client card. If someone walks in without a booking, you deduct the entry by hand with one click.

Where to find it: Passes → New pass type, then the client card → Assign a pass.

Who it is for

Vouchers work wherever people like to give an experience – beauty, massage, hairdressing, wellness. Passes are especially useful for yoga, pilates, fitness, swimming or physiotherapy, where clients come regularly.

Both features are part of the Pro plan. Online sales are not included yet – you sell the voucher or pass in person and only record it in Eazo. The design is ready for online sales, so when they arrive you won't have to redo anything.
